Eating Habits for Quick Fat Loss

A healthy food habit can often do wonders for fat reduction. The next are some basic healthy diet guidelines that one may follow after consultation with his personal trainer Melbourne.

1. Instead of taking 2-3 large meals every day, try to fall into a habit of consuming four to six small portions throughout the day. Frequent eating keeps your metabolism active and helps to burn fat.

2. Eat whole foods such as nuts, vegetables and fruits, whole grains and lean proteins. These foods contain high-fiber content and are also low in sugar content.

3. Eat a good amount of low-glycemic carbs each day. Oatmeal and vegetables are examples of such carbs. Avoid processed carbs.

4. A daily intake of 25-40 grams of fiber will regulate insulin and blood sugar levels and will keep fat accumulation in check.

5. Lean proteins provide the necessary building blocks for the development of lean body mass also help burn excess calories. Therefore try to consume some lean protein product at every meal.

6. Include healthy fat foods in your daily diet. Examples of such foods are olive oil, walnuts, eggs, Omega 3 food products, etc.

7. Fruits and vegetables are full of micronutrient value and also keep hunger pangs in check. Try to consume 5-10 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.

8. Avoid calorie-rich soft drinks. Instead drink water and antioxidant-rich drinks such as Green Tea. Also avoid caffeinated fluid.

9. Balance your fat intake in saturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats. Also consume Omega 3 fatty acids which are rich in antioxidants.

10. Prepare a healthy eating routine and try to stick to it for most of the time. You will grow used to a new routine within 2-3 weeks.

11. Consume a good amount of super foods every day. Examples of such foods are mixed nuts, mixed berries, tomatoes, salmon, spinach, flax seeds, whole oats, etc.

12. Try to avoid butter, mayonnaise, sour cream, etc. as much as possible. This will help to keep your total fat intake below 30%.

13. Get a personal training professional for yourself. Prepare an exercise routine by consulting with your personal trainer. Healthy eating is effective for fat reduction, but bear this in mind that REGULAR EXERCISE is the most healthy and effective means to reduce fat.

14. Try to observe the 90% rule. This means try to stick to your eating and exercising habits for 90% of the time. Failure to do this will delay positive results. So stick to your plan, no matter what!
