Photographing a baby

It wasn't easy to photograph a baby. In my case, Baby Zoe took some time to warm up to me. Before that, she was all poker-face like. After that, she was all gurgle and smiles. Check out some of the pics here.

Shooting a B&B

Was commissioned to shoot the interiors of a bed and breakfast today. It was a fun shoot - used only two lenses - the 18-55mm and 50mm Nikkor. Also did some food shots for their menu. The best thing about food photography is, you get to eat the spoils (provided it's not done up by the food stylists) :)

A Wedding at the Chapel

Took some pics at a friend's wedding in a quaint looking chapel this morning. I wished I had two camera bodies so that I wouldn't have to keep changing lenses and missing some unexpected precious moments!

50mm for Nightshots

The Nikkor 50mm 1.8 lens is a fantastic piece of tool. I used it for some casual night photography around a church compound and the colors rendered are just brilliant. No flash was used.

My friend Sharon could not find good stock photos of cocoons in the precise angle that she wants. So, she decided to make a cocoon from scratch for our photo project.
