Keyword tip: Copyspace,copy,space,

Copy space is quite well known to those of us who has sold pictures to micropayments sites, like SXP, iStock, Shutterstock and so on, but here at SXC that keyword is hardly in use.
I believe a lot of you are not even familiar with it, so I'll explain what it is.

Copy space is a space for copy. And "copy" is text.

You've probably already understood it: A picture that has a smooth/calm area which is suitable to place text on.

These pictures are quite useful for designers, as they can then integrate text and image rather than having them as isolated blocks like in the old days.
A lot of these pictures become very popular, so don't underestimate this keyword or the style of photo. Currently, downloaders must browse through zillions of pictures to find these kinds of images. However, if everyone takes a look at their own pics, and assign the appropriate keywords, then maybe the downloaders will find what they want easier. And your picture get more downloads!

Here's a couple of pictures that are typical for this style:

This diary is by Brokenarts, and he has a lot of images with copy space. If you take a look at his gallery, you can see they are popular too.

Hilaryaq has even added this keyword to some of her pics, but she forgot this one.

Here is another one by backnext. The frame forms a space that can be used either with text or you can even insert another photo. (In this case, probably a photo would work best.)

This one by KillR-B has a nice big space. Take a look at the comments, they say all you need to know.

Here is one of my own, and this picture was something of an accelerating bastard, and you don't even need to guess why.
It had copy space.

To do:
Browse your images for pictures with some open space, and insert this line in the keywords:
Copyspace,copy,space,
