My New camera

posted by Robmania, Oct 10, 2006 11:44 AM — 6 comments

I cant seem to see any other users that have a Panasonic Lumix FZ50!

I dont know if thats a good or bad thing :)

If you happen to come across this blog and you own/use a Panasonic Lumix FZ50, please feel free to put your comments up regarding your FZ50. I will, as I learn and use my new camera more, be putting up my 2 cents worth.

Thanks.

Well I still havent had a lot of time to try out my new toy. I am itching to go out into the mountains and snap away...

Firstly I can definitly say that this camera is really priced right, cheap actually.

I am finding the manual zoom and focus awsome, cant imagine less than 10x optical. It's such a comfortable camera to work with.

I still have so much to learn so my comments might not be too helpful. Anyway will try post more useful info in the future.

Whats up with this rating? ha ha 10...

yes, you're right; this camera is the best choice for this price... a lot of people have complained about the noise, but it's not that bad.
this camera has nice zoom, good lenses, it's very easy to work with, the sensor could have been bigger(for better low light shooting) but you can have "everything in one place".
as you read in my thread in the forum, I just got the FZ50 last week, so I didn't got to much time to explore it, but you can find many comments on this site: www.dpreview.com

Well, I am still learning and have yet to tap into all the great features of this camera.

The ease of use is awesome, really nice to operate. I am really enjoying it and hope to be posting up some good pics taken with it.

I have an FZ10, and I desperately want more megapixels, in a camera I can cope with. I'll watch the quality of your photos to see if I like them. I can't afford one yet, but I can dream...
