»  Panorama - Approaching Base Ca
The picture speaks for itself. The base camp was still about a kilometer's trek from here. The next time I go there I'll make sure I have a GPS with me :)

One glacier is visible on the right side, another glacier can be seen building on the left side.

It was so huge and I was so close that it couldn't be captured in one shot (or even 2-3 shots) at the widest angle (35mm on Panasonic FZ15). This panorama was stitched using six vertical images. Higher resolution image can be provided upon request.

These shots were taken at the Fairy Meadows Base camp of Nanga Parbat. Also known as the Killer Mountain, Nanga Parbat is the second Highest peak in Pakistan. At 8126 meters (26660 feet) it is the 9th highest peak of the world and the highest of Himalayan peaks in Pakistan.
