»  Tamarack Turn
It's a coniferous tree that grows up here near the swamp, or muskeg areas in abundance. Neat thing about it its fine, feathery needles, that unlike other conifers, turn a brilliant orangey-yellow every year and fall off. I think some people call this tree Larch, as well, or maybe it's from the same family

"There were so many of these where I grew up, I've never appreciated their beauty until now!"

"Great shot! Looks like a variety of Larch, although most of the ones I have seen tend toward yellow as opposed to rusty brown. "
