The last known photo of the great Ottawa Landscape photographer Armenian born Malak Karsh. died Nov 8, 2001. | He was the founder of the Canadian Tulip Festival held annually in Ottawa, Canada. | His brother Yousuf Karsh was a famous portrait photographer. | This great gentleman allowed me the privilage of photographing him while he was working, when I asked if I could take his portrait, he told me "he would be honored". he also took the time to show me how to use a light meter properly. | And so as this story closes, we find that the world has lost a great man. | Thank you Malak for the time you gave me
