This is the North British class J36 0-6-0 locomotive "Maude" | built in 1891 | | This photo was taken at the 'Rocket 150' event which commemorated the 1829 Rainhill trials. This consisted of a 'Cavalcade of Steam' with working locos on the main Liverpool - Manchester rail line, followed by a static exhibition at Bold Colliery, St. Helens. | | Please let me know if you are using this image.
