Terry Fox is a modern Canadian hero, and it is only fitting that his statue is sited directly opposite the main gates of Parliament Hill at the corner of Wellington and Metcalfe Streets in Ottawa. In this picture I have framed him facing the Peace Tower, and the determination on his face is a powerful reminder of what it took to run halfway across Canada on one leg before his cancer gripped him once again
