Majorca is the largest island of Spain. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea and part of the Balearic Islands archipelago, one of the autonomous communities of Spain. The capital of the island, Palma, is also the capital of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Like the other Balearic Islands of Ibiza, Formentera, and Minorca, the island is a popular tourist destination. In Germany, the United Kingdom and to a lesser extent, Ireland, where package tourism to the island started in May 1952, Majorca has remained a popular destination. Majorca Luxury Villa Majorca View
The seaside village of Banyanbulfar on the north west coast of Majorca. The chracteristic feature of the village are the marjades, the stepped slopes, or terraces, which go all the way down to the sea from the village. These used to be where grapes for the making of a fine wine with the malvasy grape used to be grown before the dreaded phylloxera killed off the whole estate of vines in the 19th century. Today, vegetables are grown on the marjades. Good copy space. Majorca Village Villa Banyanbulfar Majorca
