View of Batian, the highest summit of the Mount Kenya massif. With an altitude of 5199 m (17.057 ft) Mount Kenya is the second-highest summit in Africa. There are three main peaks, Batian, Nelion and Point Lenana. On the right side the wide Mackinder Valley is visible, also the Shiptons Hut, an important base for climing the mountain.
