DESCRIPTION

The silver-spotted tiger moth, Lophocampa argentata, or silver-spotted halisidota, as it is sometimes called, is an occasional pest of ornamental conifers. Its main host is Douglas-fir, but it will sometimes feed on spruce, pine, and other conifers.
