This is the spades suit (aces are in a separate image, link below) of the Four Continents pack of cards by Bernhard Dondorf of Frankfurt aM. (The reverse is printed with DONDORF FRANCFORT.) Each suit sign is assigned to a different continent. Spades represent Asia, hearts represent Europe, clubs represent Africa, and diamonds America. The court (picture) cards, jack, queen and king, show various styles for Asian heads of state. These are Dondorf's Patience Cards No. 27.
