DESCRIPTION

Thomas Covered Bridge The Thomas Covered Bridge has a length of 75' over the Crooked Creek, in Indiana County, PA. This bridge was built in 1879, rebuilt in 1998. The design of the bridge is of a Town Lattice Truss. Amos Thomas built the original bridge at a cost of $545.00. This bridge is the only bridge left in Indiana County which still has traffic riding over it. The bridge is also known at the Thomas Ford Bridge, as at that location, before the bridge was there, there was a ford there to cross the creek.
