View into the Massai-Steppe close to the border between Tanzania and Kenya. In the background there is the mountain Ol Doinyo Lengai. This is an active vulcanoe in Northern Tanzania, between the Rift Valley escarpment and Lake Natron. There is permanent vulcanic activity at the crater plateau.
