Here is a detailed vector illustration that I did based on some photographs of my old car (’99 Elantra). I designed it in Illustrator CS2, and specifically used blending modes to create the shading. The result is a fully "printable" vector! Changing the base colour of the car changes all the colours. No need to manually go through and change all of the shading and highlight colours to match!
